Hi SGhosh,

Hi SGhosh,
For the 107 cm chest circumference, make a foundation chain of 165 chs or (10 repeats x 16 chs) + 5 chs (if your gauge is the same as mine). Then work the ripple stitch to about armpits, do not increase 2 chs (step 2) and go to step 3. For each front part and shoulder part work 2 repeats and 1 repeat respectively. For the back part work 4 repeats and skip 1 repeat under each arm. Happy crochet!

Merry Christmas to you and

Merry Christmas to you and your family! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us. I appreciate it. Congratulations! I see that you did not do the edge around the neckline (step 11). I would advise you to crochet it as well to prevent the neckline from stretching and getting wider.

Hello Sana, nice work, i know

Hello Sana, nice work, i know you uploaded it long before, I want to do it for Large size. Is using 5mm hook enough or need to increase initial chain number

Hi Shari,

Hi Shari,
I would suggest making a foundation chain of 21 chs to crochet a sample/samples. To adjust your gauge, use larger size crochet hooks or thicker yarn. If that won't be enough, it will be necessary to add more repeats.

I am a size medium with a 38

I am a size medium with a 38 in bust, how many foundation chains do I start with please. Also anything else I need to know about the pattern for this size. Thanks so much.

Hi evachar60,

Hi evachar60,
The number of foundation chains will depend on your gauge. I always advise to try crocheting few samples before starting on big project. That way you'll be able to adjust your gauge and get used to to the pattern. Happy crochet!

H bhupali1,

H bhupali1,
Please read my reply to SGhosh on this comment page. I also suggest you to work 165 chs to crochet 10 repeats. Under the second pattern picture you may read that it is necessary to crochet from the bottom to top. Happy crochet!
