Hi Luz,

Hi Luz,
It will depend on your gauge. You may try working 124 chs adjusting your tension. If that won't be enough, then try 142 chs (24 + 1 + 19 + 1 + 49 + 1 + 19 + 1 + 24 + 3) or work 2 more repeats for the back part and add 1 repeat to each front part. For that you need to follow the pattern exactly working more repeats. Happy crocheting!

Hi, Sana it's me again. I

Hi, Sana it's me again. I have a question again should I follow the step 2 that you wrote for my size? which is the beginning and the end is different . Thank you again.

Hi Luz,

Hi Luz,
It depends on the number of chs you plan to work. If you will add just a half repeat to each front part, then yes, you'll do everything as you did for your project. If you add one repeat to each front part, then you need to follow everything what I did in the video or written instruction. One repeat is 10 chs, and I just realized that I added 20 chs or 2 repeats to the wrong number. So, I will correct my previous post.

Hi Sana, the yarn that I have

Hi Sana, the yarn that I have to use just arrive and when I ordered online it's says #3 yarn just like the Bernat cotton ish that I use for the green one, but the thing is the new yarn is different brand and it's 50% cotton and 50% acrylic and it's just a bit thicker. Pls advise do I have to follow what you told me since I have a thicker yarn? Or I just check gauge? thank you so much.

If your yarn is thicker, then

If your yarn is thicker, then 142 chs might be too many for you. I would advise you to try 124 chs and use a larger size crochet hook, if necessary, to obtain the right gauge. Happy crocheting!

Hi Sana, I have a question on

Hi Sana, I have a question on Step 7 of joining front and back parts. Pls. advise instead of ch5 , how many chains for 16/18 size on armhole. Thanks.

Hi Luz,

Hi Luz,
Whether it will fit your friend or not depends on your gauge. Before proceeding, I would double check the gauge (from the picture, it is hard to see what your tension is). Estimate whether you will have enough repeats to her chest circumference accordingly. Especially if you do your project not for yourself, it is better to overestimate a little bit than underestimate that. If in doubt, you may try to frog of few rows and use a larger size crochet hook to widen the garment. If you decide that you need to widen the garment, that will be necessary to do before joining front and back parts together.
