Hi Sana,

Hi Sana,
Sorry for late response. I decided to make the bell part with a small adjustment in order to increase the width of the blouse. So here is my blouse. My only problem is that the front part completely fits my belly but the back part is a little wider than expected. Is there anyway to fix this issue?
Thank you so much for your help. While waiting for your response , I start to do my next blouse following your wildflowers pattern.
Wish you all the best and hope to see more of your cool creations :)

Hi Diane C.,

Hi Diane C.,
Thank you for sharing your blouse with us. Your work is very neat and nice. In order to crochet a blouse to fit your size, it is necessary to adjust your gauge to your body curves accordingly. For example, a bust circumference is wider than under bust circumference. So, after the bust, you need to reduce the number of chains (if possible) or use a smaller size crochet hook to adjust your tension. In addition, a hip circumference is wider than waist circumference. That's why it is also necessary to increase your number of chains (if the pattern will allow you to do so) or use a larger size crochet hook to widen the garment. Hope this will help.

This is my first doing a

Hi crocheija,

Hi crocheija,
Thank you for sharing your work. It is very beautiful and accurate. Looks great on you, too. Congratulations!

Hello Sana, I really like

Hello Sana, I really like this pattern and want to make this. But I was wondering if you could tell me how many chains, that it would take for a XL ? you have the size listed as a six and that is way too small for me. Thanks

Hi nyzki,

Hi nyzki,
Thanks for the good question. The pattern requires multiples of 10 chains (one repeat). For the S size, I worked 3, 2, 3, and 2 repeats for the back, 1st shoulder, front, and 2nd shoulder part respectively. For the XL size, I would add 1 repeat to each front and back part or make a foundation chain of 128 chains = (10 x 12) + 8. The exact number of chs to start the project with will depend on your gauge. Happy crocheting!
