First half of the summer top

Make a foundation chain of 93 chs for each half of the summer top or multiples of 22 chs plus 5 additional chs.

Repeat the pattern starting from the 1st row until you crochet 12 rows. Then continue crocheting the 4 rows of the pattern using a smaller size crochet hook for the following 16 rows. After that, work the next 12 rows using a larger size crochet hook again to widen the garment.

41st row – h4ch, dc to last 1ch; dc2 into 1ch + RC3
42nd row – h5ch, trc1, [ch1, sk1, trc1, ch1, sk1, dc1, ch1, sk1, hdc1, ch1, sk1, sc7, ch1, sk1, hdc1, ch1, sk1, dc1, (ch1, sk1, trc1) x 2] to last 1ch; trc1 + RC3

Hi Luz,

Hi Luz,
I would advise you to practice your gauge first. Make a foundation chain of 27 chs or 22 + 5 to work one repeat, and then decide which crochet hook to use to get your size.
I would suggest trying 5 repeats or 115 chs for each half of the blouse, but you might need to use a smaller size crochet hook. Also, I'll write you how to work shoulder pieces in order not to make the neckline too wide. Happy crochet!

Hi Sana, I did a sample to

Hi Sana, I did a sample to check my gauge, I took a picture . Am I measuring it right? I use 4.5mm hook. It's big huh. Pls. advise. Or should I use smaller hook? Thanks.

Hi Sana, I'm having trouble when I change the hook so that is 13th row which is start on the 1st row, I'm missing some chains at the end .pls advise. Thanks.

Hi Luz,

Hi Luz,
The 13th row you should work as your 1st row, 5th row, and 9th row. Check thoroughly your previous 12th row whether it is just the same as 4th row or 8th row. You may also send me a picture.
