Step 4
Use different sizes hooks to adjust your gauge
Crochet 15th and other rounds like 14th round to about your waist line using a smaller size crochet hook. Then continue crocheting following rounds like 14th round using a larger size crochet hook until you crochet the desired length of the blouse.
Step 5
Finish up the blouse
Double crochet and single crochet last two rounds.
Single crochet around armholes and neckline.
Cut the yarn and secure it.

Hi Lois Lawrence,
Hi Lois Lawrence,
To make it in large, it is necessary to adjust your gauge by using a larger size crochet hook and/or thicker yarn. The other option is to add one extra repeat (read my very first comment how to adjust the pattern to XL) but use a smaller size crochet hook or thinner yarn. To save time, check your gauge before starting any project. Happy crocheting!

I just finished my own top.
I just finished my own top. It took me a month to do in between other projects and work time.

I'm a size 2x, could adding
I'm a size 2x, could adding more chains in multiple 14 or would neckline be the same? How many multiple of 14 would I add?

Hi HJMC,
Hi HJMC,
It will depend on your gauge/tension. You may read my very first comment to Luz where I wrote to add one more repeat. Your size is different from hers, but I think one more repeat should be enough for your size also, otherwise the neckline might be too wide on you depending on your gauge. The body part you may adjust using a different size crochet hooks. Happy crochet!

Dear Sana, I decided to work
Dear Sana, I decided to work your beautiful crochet yoke of this summer top for my (hopefully) summer dress or tunic, but with very thin yarn and crochet hook 1,25 mm. I thougt that I will make the lace design twice maybe three times to make the base, but it is very curly now, not flat as you have on the picture, so I am afraid I did something wrong, or do you think it is not suitable for different thickness of yarn? I guess I must extend somewhere or do something differently. Could you kindly give me advice? Eva.

Hi Eva,
Hi Eva,
I would first estimated how many repeats I should work for the body (chest circumference) and sleeves. Then I would adjust the pattern accordingly. To crochet fewer repeats, it is necessary to skip more chains on the 2nd round. Happy crochet!

This is a beautiful summer
This is a beautiful summer blouse that I would love to make, but there are no measurements given.. I need a size that fits 43" bust. Would a larger crochet hook be enough to make it large enough? I would hate to start and have to rip it all out.
