Tank top crochet pattern
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1
Begin crocheting from the top to bottom.
Make a foundation chain of 156 chs or multiples of 13 chs. Join it into a ring with the slip stitch.
Step 2
Body
1st round – ch1, sc to end plus sl.st.1 into 1st ch
2nd round – ch3, dc2 into sm.ch, ch3, sk4, sc1, ch3, sk4, dc3 into 1ch, ch5, [sk2, dc3 into 1ch, ch3, sk4, sc1, ch3, sk4, dc3 into 1ch, ch5] to end + sl.st.1 into 3rd ch
3rd round – sl.st.1, ch3, dc2 into sm.ch, ch2, sk4, sc1, ch2, sk4, dc3 into 1ch, ch3, sk3, sc1, ch3, [sk3, dc3 into 1ch, ch2, sk4, sc1, ch2, sk4, dc3 into 1ch, ch3, sk3, sc1, ch3] to end + sl.st.1 into 3rd ch
4th round – sl.st.1, ch3, dc2 into sm.ch, sk7, dc3 into 1ch, ch3, sk4, sc1, ch3, [sk4, dc3 into 1ch, sk7, dc3 into 1ch, ch3, sk4, sc1, ch3] to end + sl.st.1 into 3rd ch
5th round – sl.st.1, ch3, dc2 into sm.ch, ch5, sk2, dc3 into 1ch, ch2, sk4, sc1, ch2, [sk4, dc3 into 1ch, ch5, sk2, dc3 into 1ch, ch2, sk4, sc1, ch2] to end + sl.st.1 into 3rd ch
6th round – sl.st.1, ch3, dc2 into sm.ch, ch3, sk3, sc1, ch3, sk3, dc3 into 1ch, [sk7, dc3 into 1ch, ch3, sk3, sc1, ch3, sk3, dc3 into 1ch] to end + sl.st.1 into 3rd ch
7th round – sl.st.1, ch3, dc2 into sm.ch, ch3, sk4, sc1, ch3, sk4, dc3 into 1ch, ch5, [sk2, dc3 into 1ch, ch3, sk4, sc1, ch3, sk4, dc3 into 1ch, ch5] to end + sl.st.1 into 3rd ch
Repeat the pattern starting from the 3rd round until you crochet underarms. Work your last round as your 4th round.

Step 5
Second front piece
Skip 7 chs from the first front piece and attach the yarn

4th and other rows of the second front piece crochet the same as 4th and other rows of the first front piece respectively.

I would work the pattern totally the same, but skip one repeat fewer chains between front part and back part from each side. Happy crochet!
