Step-by-step instructions
Begin crocheting the scarf from the center towards ends.
Step 1
First half of the scarf
Make a foundation chain of 30 chains.

Step 2
Second half of the scarf
Place the first half of the scarf to the wrong side, attach the yarn into the very 1st ch of the initial foundation chain, and make 3 chs to pick up the height. Then repeat step 1. When you crochet the desired length of the scarf, cut the yarn and weave in ends.

ch – chain
dc – double crochet
dec – decrease – work two unfinished double crochets, and then draw the yarn through three remaining loops on the hook
dec* – work one unfinished dc into ch above dc of prev.row and one unfinished dc between initial chs and dc of prev. row, then pull the yarn through 3 loops on your hook
flower – work into 1st Vst - dc2, ch1, dc2, sc1; into 2nd Vst – sc1, dc2, ch1, dc2, sc1; into 3rd Vst – sc1, dc2, ch1, dc2
h4ch – insert a hook into 4th chain from the hook
prev.row – previous row
RC – returning chain
sc – single crochet
sk – skip a chain
Vst – V stitch – (dc1, ch2, dc1) into 1ch
