Recommended maintenance
Toyota recommends to perform second free of charge service in 12 months or after 10,000 miles whichever comes first. During this service the dealer should change engine oil and oil filter, rotate tires, complete multipoint vehicle inspection, inspect and adjust all fluid levels.

Make an appointment
As our first service went well, I scheduled an appointment with the same dealership as we serviced our car first time. Very simple on-line reservation at Toyota dealer’s website lets you choose convenient time and even advisor.
At the service center
2016 Toyota Camry had about 5,000 miles when I brought it for second inspection, and I asked particularly not to forget about changing motor oil despite the low mileage on the vehicle. Supervisor ensured me the engine oil will be changed because that is a part of 12 month maintenance plan for every new Toyotas.
I still hear the noise
During the first inspection I raised concern about a strange periodical noise coming from the right rear end of the vehicle when I drive 25 – 35 miles per hour. At that time, no issues were located. During second visit I explained that the same problem happening again and again. After an inspection, I test drove with a mechanic, but no issue was identified this time as well.
This weird behavior of the new vehicle starts really concerning me. I would say, 30-40% of the time while driving with low speed (up to 40 mph) I’m noticing noise at the rear of the vehicle. I still cannot get what it is, and mechanics are unable to locate the source of that noise as well mainly because it’s not a constant issue, but happening from time to time.
How long the service last
The whole process of serving our Camry took less than one hour including the time I drove with mechanic trying to check the noise. I consider it’s a quite fast service.
