Step-by-step knitting instructions
Step 1
Cast on 32 stitches or multiples of 6 stitches plus 2 additional sts.
Step 2
1st row (right side) – p2, [ k4, p2] to end
2nd row (wrong side) – sk1, k1, [p4, k2] to end
3rd row – sk1, p1, [k4, p2] to end
4th row = 2nd row
5th row – sk1, p1, [crL1, crR1, p2] to end
Repeat the pattern starting from the 2nd row.
Knit the patter for about 48 inches or longer.
Step 3
Cast off all the stitches – [k2tog, slide the st. from the right needle to the left one] to end
Join both ends of the scarf together using a knitting needle, sewing needle, or crochet hook.
Step 4
Cut the yarn and secure it.
