Ingredients

- 2 pounds of ground pork meat (turkey, beef meat or combination of those will work fine as well)

- 1 large onion grated

- 1 large potato grated

- salt and pepper by taste

- 2 large cloves of grated garlic

- 1 large egg

- 2 slices of Italian bread (other kind of bread can work as well, but be careful with some American soft bread

- 1/3 cup of slightly warm water

- barbeque sauce

- tomato sauce

Cooking directions

In large bowl put ground pork meat and pour some water there to get rid of some remaining blood. Leave the meat in water for a few minutes then drain the water. Then salt and pepper the meat. On a small grate shred to the mixture onion, garlic, and potato. Add there an egg and crumbed bread. Mix it well with your hand preferably. The mixture supposed to be slightly wet otherwise the meat balls might be sort of dry once baked. On the other hand, it should not be way too wet because then it may be hard to form shape of a ball from that. Some people like to put rice instead of potato or use them both. Lastly add warm water to the meat if necessary depending on how wet the mixture already.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Grease a little bit a regular baking pan or glass baking pan with vegetable oil and pour there tomato sauce. With your hands form the desired size of balls and place them in the sauce. You can form these balls as big as about the size of a baseball if you want to. Pour on top of each ball some barbeque sauce. Place the sheet in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes or until your meat balls turn brown.

You can serve this dish with mash potatoes, rice, or pasta. Enjoy your meal!
