Hi Luz,

Hi Luz,
I think that is the body type differences. I have wide hips, so I have to increase chs/use a larger size hook to fit at the bottom. You may keep crocheting with the same size crochet hook, if you believe it is not necessary to widen the garment at the bottom. Happy crochet!

Hi Luz,

Hi Luz,
To make it snug, I estimate how many double crochets I need for my chest circumference before starting dc rounds. I love your sleeveless version. You always adjust my patterns so beautifully.

Do you measure before you

Do you measure before you crochet? I did not measure but I know you told me on my size dc 180 so that’s what I did.Maybe next time I’ll make it less dc.

Hi Luz,

Hi Luz,
I always make a small sample of the pattern right before crocheting/knitting the big piece to double check whether my tension is right.
Even if you crochet using the same yarn and hook, the gauge may vary from day to day. One day you can crochet more loosely or tightly. That's why I crochet/knit two pairs of sleeves, socks, mittens at the same time to keep the same gauge for both.
Checking the gauge might seems like an extra work, but it will same you time. Happy crochet!
