Sweater pullover crochet pattern

Part 1 video tutorial

Begin crocheting the sweater from the bottom to top.

Make a foundation chain of 193 chs or multiples of 16 chs plus 1 additional ch to work 12 repeats. Join it into a ring with the slip stitch to crochet in the round.

Crochet the neckline and second back shoulder part as you did for the front part.

15th row = 9th row
16th row = 4th row

Join sleeves

Flip the garment to the wrong side, match closely chains, and crochet the pattern similar to what you did for the neckline, but work unfinished double crochets and triple crochets on both sides of each sleeve before finishing them together.

For all edges work 2 sc rounds.

ch – chain
dc – double crochet
dc dec – double crochet decrease – work one unfinished dc, skip one chain, work one more unfinished dc, and then draw the yarn through all 3 loops on your hook
fl sc – front loop single crochet
h#ch – insert a hook into the # ch from your hook
hdc – half double crochet
hdc dec – half double crochet decrease – yarn over, insert a hook into a chain, grab the yarn and pull it through. You should have 3 loops on the hook. Skip a base chain. Insert your hook into a chain and make a loop. You should have 4 loops on the hook. Draw the yarn through all 4 loops on your hook.

qcr dec – quadruple crochet decrease – work unfinished qcr (2 loops on hook), sk1, unfinished qcr (3 loops on hook), draw the yarn through all 3 loops on your hook
