Lace skirt with belt crochet pattern - multiple stitches combination
Step-by-step crochet instructions
Step 1
Make a foundation chain of 110 chains or multiples of 3 (3 x 36 = 108 chs) plus 2 additional chains. I count all the chains including the chain on the hook. Work one slip stitch into the very first chain to begin crocheting in the round.
Step 2
1st round – ch3, dc to end plus sl.st.1 into the 3rd ch.
2nd round – ch1, blsc to end + sl.st.1 into the 1st ch.
3rd round – ch3, bldc to end plus sl.st.1 into the 3rd ch.
4th round = 2nd round
5th round – ch1, sk1, [bump1, ch2, sk2] to end
6 – 10 rounds – [bump1, ch2, sk bump, sk1] work in an endless round
Step 3
Increase chains
11th round – ch1, [sk bump, sc2, ch2] to end; at the end sk bump, sc1
You should have 144 chains plus 1 additional chain on the hook or multiples of 3 + 1 ch.
12th round – sc to end + sl.st.1 into the 1st ch
13th round = 3rd round
14th round = 2nd round
15th round – ch3, h2ch, 1st CL*, [2nd CL**] to end; 3rd CL*** plus sl.st.1 into 1st ch
*1st CL – ch3, insert hook into 2nd ch., grab the yarn, and pull it through (you should have 2 loops on a hook). Pull the yarn through 3rd ch. (3 sts on hook). Insert hook into a loop of the 1st base ch., grab the yarn, and pull it through (4 sts on hook). Pull the yarn through 2 back loops of the following 2 chs (6 sts on hook). YO, pull the yarn through the 6 sts.
**2nd CL – ch2, insert hook into a center of the 1st CL, grab the yarn, and pull it through (2 sts on hook). Pull the yarn through the last used base ch. and through 3 loops of the following 3 base chs (6 sts on hook). YO and pull the yarn through the 6 sts on hook.
***3rd CL – ch2, pull the yarn through the center of 2nd CL. Draw the yarn through the last used base ch. and through 2 last loops of the round (5 sts on hook). Pull the yarn through the 2nd ch (6sts on hook). YO and pull the yarn through the 6 sts on hook.
16th round – [hdc3 into each center of the clusters/half flowers] to end + sl.st.1
17th round – ch1, sc to end + sl.st.1 into the 1st ch
18th round = 3rd round
19th round = 2nd round
20th round – ch3, [sk2, Vst] to end; sk2, dc1, ch1 + sl.st.1 into 3rd ch.
21st round – sc2, [picot1, sc3] to end; picot1, sc1 + sl.st.1 into 1st ch.
22nd round – ch2, sk picot, dc1, [ch2, dc CL] to end; ch2 + sl.st.1 into the 3rd ch.
23rd round = 17th round
Repeat the pattern starting from the 13th round until you about crochet the desired length of the skirt.
Step 4
Pattern requires multiples of 6 chs
40th round – [sk2, (hdc4, ch3, hdc4) into 3rd ch, sk2, hdc1] to end
41st round – [(hdc4, ch3, hdc4) into op. between hdcs, sk3, mid.CL ] work in an endless round
At the end of the last round, yo, sk3, draw the yarn through the 4th ch, then pull the yarn through the 5th ch resulting in 4 loops on your hook. Then draw the last 4th loop on your hook through the 3 other loops on the hook.
Step 5
Edge
Attach the yarn and work sc to end using other loops of the initial foundation chain
Step 6
Belt
Make a foundation chain of about 200 chs or as many as necessary. Hdc4 into the 2nd ch from your hook, ch3, hdc4 into the same ch, ch1, and sl.st.1 into the same ch. Work sl.sts to one last chain of the row. (hdc4, ch3, hdc4) into one ch, ch1, sl.st.1 into the same ch. Cut the yarn and secure it.
Install the belt into the first round of double crochet stitches between dc.

This is such a lovely project
This is such a lovely project to do! Thanks a lot! I wanted to check which other yarn can I use? This yarn is only available in white colour. I don't want white colour and I don't know if pure cotton will be flexible enough to stretch when sitting and go back in shape after.
