Hi Luz,
Hi Luz,
Thank you for attaching a picture of your gauge. For your size (XL), I would make a foundation chain of 98 chs or (6 x 16) +2. Then I would start crocheting the front part the same way, but after 4th row, it will be necessary to stop decreasing chains from the neck side also. When you get there, I'll give you more details about that. The back part you'll crochet as I did working fewer repeats. Happy crocheting!

Hi Sana, it's been awhile
Hi Sana, it's been awhile that I stop crocheting because of my trigger thumb. I'm trying to continue this bolero and I'm on the front part and in your message you wrote that I'll continue as the same but on the 4rth row I'll stop decreasing. Which 4rth row? I'm sorry I'm lost pls advise.Thanks.

Hi Luz,
Hi Luz,
I meant to stop decreasing chains after the first 4 rows of the 1st front part. In other words, stop decreasing chains after 14 rows (10 body rows and 4 front part rows). Then it is necessary to follow rows starting from 15th row of the back part (step 5). Since you have a different gauge, you should work fewer rows for your each front part and back part. Happy crochet!

Hi Sana, I want to make sure
Hi Sana, I want to make sure that I understand you correctly. After 14th row on step 3 when you said stop decreasing, is that mean the trc1 , I'll do trc3 instead? At the beginning and end of the rows?

Hi Luz,
Hi Luz,
I worked last rows of each front part and back part without decreasing chains. In the previous comment, I wrote you to follow step 5 starting from the 15th row. So, your 15th row of the first front part will be the same as the 15th row of the back part where you need to work the pattern without decreasing chains. The 15th row of the back part, in its turn, is the same as 23rd row of the first front part. Therefore, your 15th row of the 1st front part = (23rd row -step 3) – h4ch, trc1, ch1, sk3, [trc3 into 1ch, ch5, arch of 3chs into middle quadruple crochet between 2 picots of prev. row, ch5, sk picot and 6chs, trc3 into 1ch, ch1, sk2], trc1 + RC3. Happy crochet!

Hi Sana, I'm sorry to ask you
Hi Sana, I'm sorry to ask you more questions, 15, 16, 17, 18 rows = 23, 24, 25, 26 rows of 1st front part respectively , this is on the back part, what do you mean by this? Thanks.

I read your comment again, I
I read your comment again, I think the way I understand it, Instead of doing the 15th row on the front part I will skip that and go to 23rd row instead which is the same as 15th row back part step 5.

Hi Luz,
Hi Luz,
Yes, you've understood it correctly.

I want to show you the front
I want to show you the front part before I do the 2nd front does it look right?

Hi Luz,
Hi Luz,
Since you have different gauge and number of repeats, it is necessary to work fewer repeats for the back part and just one repeat for each front part. It looks like you crocheted two repeats for the front part or maybe you worked more long body rows than 10 rows (from the picture it is hard to say). Before giving you any suggestion, write me how many rows go into 4 inches and how long your arm depth you prefer to be?
