Hi Luz,
Hi Luz,
You may use the yarn you like. If the garment isn't wide enough to your chest circumference, I'll help you to add one repeat under each arm. Happy crochet!

Hi Sana, On the 5th increase
Hi Sana, On the 5th increase round, how did you do the increase? If I want to add one repeat under each arm, how am going to do that? Thanks.

Hi Luz,
Hi Luz,
You may watch the second part of the video (https://youtu.be/ayQe3W6eSh8) from 8:25 to about 10:45 to see how I worked the 5th increase round. Normally you crochet new shells between shells (checkers order). When you work an increase round, it is necessary to create an additional shell above a shell from each side of the summer top.
To add one shell under each arm. I would work 11 rows for the back part and 10 rows for the front part. I'd use a back part's yarn and chain 15. Then I would join the back part and front part with the slip stitch and work the 11th row for the front part as usual sc13 above shells and ch3 in between. After the last sc of front part, I'd chain 15 also and join the front part with back part with sl.st.1.
Begin crocheting the 1st round like 12th row creating 5 arches of 3chs above each shell of back part with dc1 in between. After the last arch of 3chs - *ch1, sk1, dc1, ch1, sk1, [sc1, ch3, sk1] x 5, sc1, ch1, sk1, dc1, ch1, sk1* - then work 5 arches of 3chs above each shell of front part and dc1 in between again. Lastly repeat what is between *...* under second arm. Crochet the pattern in the round creating new shells above double crochets. Happy crochet!

Hi Luz,
Hi Luz,
I worked just one single crochet round around my arms and neckline. You may work two or more sc rounds decreasing chains. Happy crochet!
