Part 1

Begin crocheting from the bottom to top.
Make a foundation chain of 125 (130, 140, 145) chs or multiples of 5 chs. One repeat is 5 chains. I do not count one chain.
To adjust the size, add one repeat/5chs to the back part (size M) or one repeat under each arm (size L). Add one repeat to the back part and one repeat under each arm (size XL). The other option is to use a thicker/thinner yarn or bigger/smaller size crochet hooks.

1st row – h4ch, dc to end + RC1
2nd row – h2ch, sc3, [ch3, sk2, sc3] to end + RC2
3rd row – h4ch, dc1, sc5 under arch of 3chs, [sl.st.1 above middle sc of prev.row, sc5 under arch of 3chs] to end; sk1, dc2 + RC1
4th row – h2ch, sc5, [ch3, sk4, sc2] to last 4 chs; sc1, sk1, sc2 + RC2
5th row = 1st row
6th row – h2ch, sc to end + RC1
7th row – h2ch, hdc3, [bump1, hdc4] to end + RC1
8th row = 6th row

Repeat the pattern starting from the 1st row until you crochet to your under arms.

Part 2

Front part
1st row (wrong side) – h2ch, sk1, sc31* + RC1
*multiples of 5 single crochets plus 2 additional single crochets

2nd row (right side) – h2ch, hdc3, [bump1, hdc3] to last 4chs; bump1, hdc dec1, hdc + RC1
3rd row – h2ch, sc1, sk1, sc to end + RC2
4th row – h4ch, dc to last 3chs; dc dec1, dc1 + RC1
5th row – h2ch, sc1, sk1, sc2, [ch3, sk2, sc3] to end + RC2
6th row - h4ch, dc1, sc5 under arch of 3chs, [sl.st.1 above middle sc of prev.row, sc5 under arch of 3chs] to end; sk1, dc2 + RC1
7th row – h2ch, sc5, [ch3, sk4, sc2] to last 4 chs; sc1, sk1, sc2 + RC2
8th row – h4ch, dc to end + RC1
Repeat the pattern starting from the 1st row (front part).

Crochet a second front part as a mirror reflection to the first one.
Attach the yarn 33 chs before the end of the last body row. Chain one to pick up the height.
1st row (wrong side) – h2ch, sc to last 2chs; sk1, sc1 + RC1
2nd row – h2ch, hdc dec1, [bump1, hdc4] to end + RC1
3rd row - h2ch, sc to last 2 chs; sk1, sc1 + RC2
4th row – h4ch, dc1, dc dec1, dc to end + RC1
5th row – h2ch, [sc3, ch3, sk2] to last 4chs; sc2, sk1, sc1 + RC2
6th row - h4ch, dc1, sc5 under arch of 3chs, [sl.st.1 above middle sc of prev.row, sc5 under arch of 3chs] to end; sk1, dc2 + RC1
7th row – h2ch, sc5, [ch3, sk4, sc2] to last 4 chs; sc1, sk1, sc2 + RC2
8th row – h4ch, dc to end + RC1
Repeat the pattern starting from the 1st row (2nd front part).

Back part
Skip 2chs from a front part. Attach the yarn and make one chain to pick up the height.
1st row (wrong side) – h2ch, sc 53* + RC1
*multiples of 5 single crochets plus 3 additional single crochets
2nd row = 7th row (body)
3rd row = 8th row (body)
4th row = 1st row (body)
5th row = 2nd row (body)
6th row = 3rd row (body)
7th row = 4th row (body)
8th row = 5th row (body)
Repeat the pattern starting from the 1st row (back part).

Back part
Skip 2chs from a front part. Attach the yarn and make one chain to pick up the height.
1st row (wrong side) – h2ch, sc 53* + RC1
*multiples of 5 single crochets plus 3 additional single crochets
2nd row = 7th row (body)
3rd row = 8th row (body)
4th row = 1st row (body)
5th row = 2nd row (body)
6th row = 3rd row (body)
7th row = 4th row (body)
8th row = 5th row (body)
Repeat the pattern starting from the 1st row (back part).

Work the same number of rows for the back part as for the front part.
Use the same number of repeats for the back shoulder part as for the front shoulder part and work three rows just like the back part without decreasing chains.
Join front and back shoulder pieces together on the wrong side of the garment.

Sleeves
Attach the yarn under arms. Chain two to pick up the height. Work about 37 double crochets or multiple of 5 double crochets plus 2 additional double crochets. Work regular body rows until you crochet the desired length of a sleeve.
When you crochet the desired length of each sleeve, sew sides together matching rows.

Body edge
Work the first five body rows around the body.

Do you have video of when you start to decrease for back and front of this garment. I have watched the first video of how pattern forms but would like to follow from where armholes begin. Thank you in advance.

Hi Rene117,

Hi Rene117,
You may follow the second part of the video tutorial. I just added both parts to this webpage. Happy crochet!

Hello, thanks a lot for your work
I did the back side with 125 chain as you did, but don’t know how many chains to start the 2 front size ?
Thanks for your support

I have done the length till

I have done the length till under the arm for the back, now I'm stuck. I would love to know how many stitches did you start the front part with? Also how does one reduce the stitches in the back part. What is your final count of stitches on each side? Love your designs. This is my 2nd design from your website. Thank you.
