16 mushrooms ½ pound of pork ground meat 3 tablespoons of sour cream 2 potatoes 1 onion 1 egg (optional) 1 clove of garlic salt and pepper by taste
Ingredients for sauce:
1 carrot 1 tomato 2 tablespoons of ketchup ½ teaspoon of salt ½ teaspoon of sugar
- Clean the mushrooms and remove carefully mushroom stems from caps the way you won’t damage any cap. While doing the separation, hold each mushroom upside-down by the cap with one hand, and try gently and slowly pull the stem with the other one. - To prepare a filling for the mushrooms, combine ground meat, an egg (optional), shredded potato, onion, and garlic in the big mixing bowl. Salt and pepper it by taste.
Mixing all ingredients
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly by hand, making sure that everything blends nicely and smoothly. - Add to the mixture sour cream. Then mix the filling once again very well.
Prepare the sauce
Grate into the glass baking pan a carrot and tomato. Add there ketchup, salt, and pepper. You may add some water as well. Blend the sauce ingredients very well.
Take one cleaned mushroom cap, salt it, fill with the filling and place into the glass baking pan with the sauce.
Fill up baking pan
Continue until you fill the entire glass baking pan with mushrooms. After you finish working with the meat, it is necessary to wash everything well that the pork meat touched. Preheat the oven to 375 degree Fahrenheit and place there the mushrooms for about 30 minutes.
