Put the garment on something

Put the garment on something flat like a table or floor and take a picture of about 2 or 3 repeats. That way I should be able to see better your rounds.

I've already frogged it. I

I've already frogged it. I will begin again and see what happens. I apologize....didn't think to take a picture of it before hand. I'm using Aunt Lydia's Crochet Thread #3 for this project. Is that too thin of a yarn? When I started the 12th round (12th round – ch4, (ch1, sk1, trc1) x 41, ch18, sk49, trc1, (ch1, sk1, trc1) x 41, ch18, sk49 + sl.st.1 into 4th ch) This didn't get me to the beginning of the round, I had a lot left. I must have somehow increased my stitches, although I'm not sure how.

You may use any yarn you like

You may use any yarn you like keeping in mind that the thickness of the yarn will affect your gauge. I would suggest you to make a foundation chain of about 43 chs to work 3 repeats or multiples of 14 to practice the pattern on a small piece before starting the big one. Happy crochet!

Here is a photo of my work.

Here is a photo of my work. How many repeats for the second round? I chained 155+1 to begin. It's not working out right for my 4th round

I see that some of your arches of 3 chs (3rd round) are not in the right places. If you look at the 2nd picture from the top of the written instruction, you'll see that all my arches of 3 chs are in the middle of trc sts of previous round. Happy crochet!

I finally figured out what I

I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. On the 3rd round I was doing 8sc and then 3 chains instead of 16sc between each set of 3 chains. I had to watch the video multiple times but now I think I'm on the right track. Thank you!

Hi Sana,

Hi Sana,
I will be using acrylic yarn for this top. Will it drap properly like it does with cotton yarn? I will be using same hook size as mentioned in your pattern. Thanks!

Hi ekta,

Hi ekta,
You may use any yarn you like for the pattern. The most important part is your gauge to get the right size. Happy crochet!
