Step 3
Front part
Attach the yarn where your corner is above 1st dc of inc
1 – 10 rows of the front part = 1 – 10 rows of the back part.
Step 4
Join back and front parts together
Work with the yarn of the back part and continue crocheting the 11th row of the front part just like 11th row of the back part. That way you join the two pieces from one side.
At the end of the 11th row (front part), work sl.st.1
Step 5
Body
1st round – ch3, dc1 between 2 inc., ch2, (inc1 into inc, ch2) x 3, dc2 between trcs, ch2, [(inc1 into inc, ch2) x 7, dc2 between trcs, ch2] x 2, (inc1 into inc, ch2) x 3, dc2 between 2 inc, ch2, (inc1 into inc, ch2) x 3, dc2 between trcs, ch2, [(inc1 into inc, ch2) x 7, dc2 between trcs, ch2] x 2, (inc1 into inc, ch2) x 3 + sl.st.1
Use a smaller size crochet hook
2nd round – ch3, dc1 into inc, ch2, [inc1 into inc, ch2] to end + sl.st.1
3rd and all other rounds work as 2nd round until you crochet to about your waist line. Then crochet other rounds as 2nd round until you reach the desired length of the blouse, using a larger size crochet hook.
One round before the very last round, work similar to the 2nd round, but work dc2 instead of ch2 or
- ch3, dc1 into inc, dc2, [inc1 into inc, dc2] to end + sl.st.1
Work sc to end for the very last round.
Step 6
Edges
Sc to end around your armholes and neckline using a smaller size crochet hook.

Do you have instructions for a size Large of this pattern? It's lovely but I need a large!

Hi Mmolaison,
Hi Mmolaison,
For the larger size, you may adjust your gauge by using a larger size crochet hook or thicker yarn. I would add one repeat (ch2, inc1) from both sides of the blouse while joining front and back parts together. For that, it would be necessary to work 2 chs after the 11th row (back part) and then continue crocheting the 11th row for the front one. At the end of the row, work 2 chs again and then slip stitch to start crocheting in the round. Happy crocheting!

Hi I was wondering if you can help with instructions so I can make a size small for my grandaughters? ty

Hi dmac01,
Hi dmac01,
The easiest way to make a small size is to adjust your gauge by using a smaller size crochet hook or thinner yarn. The other way is to join front and back parts earlier and stop increasing chains on sides after that. Happy crocheting!

Hello, Sana. I just finished the pineapple top. It was very easy to follow, because your youtube and written instructions are very comprehensive. I made this top for my daughter, and she loves it. Here is a picture.

I really would like to create this. I am a size 1X. 16womens. How can I make this for my size?

Hi Lindabr1,
Hi Lindabr1,
For 42" chest circumference, I would work first 3 steps the same way. Then add 3 more repeats (sk2, dc2, ch2) from both sleeve sides. For that (step 4), work 10 chs, then continue crocheting the 11th row of the front part. At the end of the 11th row (front part), ch10 also, and then work sl.st.1.
1st round – ch3, dc1 into inc., ch2, (inc1 into inc, ch2) x 3, dc2 between trcs, ch2, [(inc1 into inc, ch2) x 7, dc2 between trcs, ch2] x 2, (inc1 into inc, ch2) x 4, (sk2, dc2, ch2) x 2, sk2, (inc1 into inc, ch2) x 4, dc2 between trcs, ch2, [(inc1 into inc, ch2) x 7, dc2 between trcs, ch2] x 2, (inc1 into inc, ch2) x 4, (sk2, dc2, ch2) x 2, sk2 + sl.st.1.
For the 2nd round, work 54 repeats (inc1 into inc, ch2). Where you have dc2, work inc1 between dc2.
I've written the adjustments, assuming that your gauge will be about the same as mine. Happy crocheting!
