I would like to know how to

I would like to know how to increase size to fit 24 inch circumference. Is it enough to increase needle size or should I increase amount of stitches also? I am using Red Heart Super Saver yarn Medium 4 yarn. I love the look of this hat. Thanks in advance.

Hi Pioneer Woman,

Hi Pioneer Woman,
It depends on your gauge. Knitters produce different gauges using the same size knitting needles and yarn. It is important to make a small sample of the ribbing pattern before making the final decision. I would use just a larger size needles to adjust the size. Happy knitting!
