Step 1
Stop bead
Fix a stop bead:
- bring a seed bead down to end of your thread, leaving about 6 inches or more for the tail.
- pass the thread back through the stop bead twice to form two loops around the first bead to secure it in place.
Step 2
Beads pattern
String one 5 mm sb, (one 7 mm bead, one 5 mm sb ) x 11, one 12 mm brown bead, (one 5 mm sb, 1 metal spacer bead, one 15 mm mesh spacer bead, 1 metal spacer bead, one 5 mm sb, one 12 mm brown bead) x 3, one 5 mm sb, (one 7 mm bead, one 5 mm sb ) x 11, one 3 mm metal sb.

Step 3
Clasp
String a spring ring clasp and bring the needle through the last 3 mm metal sb and 5 mm white sb. Reinforce the clasp by bringing the thread through the 3 mm metal sb and the clasp’s hole, and then back though several beads.
Secure the thread and then cut it closely to beads.
Step 4
Remove the stop bead and string it back on the thread. Place a jump ring on a tag, and then string the tag.
Fix the tag the same way as your clasp by bringing the needle through the first metal sb and 5 mm sb. Then reinforce it through 3 mm metal sb and the tag’s loop, and then bring the needle back through several beads.
Secure and cut the thread.
