Step-by-step crochet instructions
Step 1
Make a foundation chain of 16 chains (count all the chains including the ch. on your crochet hook)
Note: crocheters, who do not count a chain that is on the hook, should chain 15.
Step 2
1st row – h4ch, dc2, ch1, sk1, dc6, ch1, sk1, dc2 plus RC3
2nd row – h4ch, dc2, ch1, sk4, dc3, dc1 in 2nd sk.ch, dc1 in 3rd sk.ch, dc1 in 4th sk.ch, ch1, sk1, dc2 + RC3
Repeat the pattern starting from the 1st row or alternate the 1st and 2nd row until you crochet the desired length of the headband.
Step 3
Join the last row of the band with the 1st one from the wrong side of the fabric.
Cut the yarn and secure it.
Attach a crochet flower or decorate as desired.
