Hi Sana, I want to make this

Hi Sana, I want to make this for XL but with thicker yarn like the 3light bernat cotton ish and I will use 3.75mm hook. How many chains should I make. Pls. advise. Thanks.

Hi Luz,

Hi Luz,
I would advise you to crochet a small sample to learn your gauge first. For example, you may make a foundation chain of 18 chs and then work step 2. Then you will be able to estimate how many repeats it will be necessary to work to your size accordingly. You may write your gauge to me, and I'll help you to estimate the number of chains to start with. Happy crochet!

Hi Sana, I did a sample to

Hi Sana, I did a sample to check my gauge, I did 18 chains and step 2 just the first row. i measured 4 inches from the starting point till end. Pls. advise if I did it right. Thanks.

Hi Luz,

Hi Luz,
I would crochet more than just one row to make sure that my measurements and estimate is right.
