Step-by-step crochet instructions
Begin crocheting the cardigan from the bottom to top.
Step 1

1st row (right side) – h4ch, dc1, sk2, trc1, ch2, dc7, [ch3, trc dec, ch3, dc7] to last 4 chs; ch2, trc1, sk2, dc1 + RC3
2nd row (wrong side) – h4ch, dc1, ch2, trc1, sk2, dc7, [sk3, (trc1, ch5, trc1) into 1ch, sk3, dc7] to last 4 chs; sk2, trc1, ch2, dc1 + RC3
3rd row – h4ch, dc4, ch3, trc dec, ch3, [dc7, ch3, trc dec, ch3] to last 4 chs; dc4 + RC3

You're welcome, fvysan. I'm

You're welcome, fvysan. I'm glad that you liked the pattern, and I like your work. It is very beautiful and accurate. Congratulations!

The pattern requires

The pattern requires multiples of 14 chs plus 5 additional chs. For the sizes 2x and 3x, I would make foundation chains of about 131 chs and 145 chs respectively. It is necessary to practice your gauge, and then estimate how many repeats you need to work for one half (back part) of the cardigan. Happy crochet!
