Row-by-row crochet instructions
Begin crocheting the blouse from the top to bottom.
Make a foundation chain of 127 chs. Join it into a ring with the slip stitch.

1st round – ch2, sc5, inc1, [sc6, inc1] to end + sl.st.1 into 2nd ch
2nd round – ch3, dc2, ch1, sk1, [dc3, ch1, sk1] to end + sl.st.1 into 3rd ch

Thank you Sana :)
Thank you Sana :)
One friend has asked for top in blue color. Her size is - bust 36" and hip 40". How many chains should I start with?

Hi ekta,
Hi ekta,
If your gauge will be about the same as mine, you may follow the pattern exactly for the bust circumference 36". Happy crochet!

Hi rashmi,
Hi rashmi,
I would advise you to practice your gauge working the pattern to get more accurate estimate. You may chain multiples of 12 or 4 repeats x 12 = 48 chs and work your 1st round similar to 5th round.
1st round - ch6, [dc3, ch3, sk3] to last 2chs; dc2 + sl.st.1 into 3rd ch
Then work the Pattern starting from the 6th round (Pattern). After that, you will be able to estimate how many repeats you need to work to your chest circumference accordingly. Happy crochet!

Hi Sana,
Hi Sana,
Its me again. This time I am working this blouse formy office friend.
She has given me her blouse for measurements. I've started off with 145 foundation chains and reached till round no 14. I think it will be further repeats till round no 23 and then Armhole should be worked out but I am not sure :(
Please help to confirm if I am doing right, to fit the measurements.
Adding a picture hope it helps.

Hi ekta,
Hi ekta,
To widen the garment, I would use a larger size crochet hook first, and then I'd increase chs. For example, 9th round – ch5, (dc4, ch1, dc4) under 1ch, ch4, [sc1 under chs between 2 repeats, ch4, (dc4, ch1, dc4) under 1ch, ch4] to end + sl.st.1 into 1st ch. And then I would increase 2 dc in each repeat accordingly. The other option is to add more repeats to the pattern from the start.
I would suggest you to make an estimate how many repeats you need to work to her chest circumference before making any decisions. Happy crochet!

Hi Sana,
Hi Sana,
For chest circumference, 28-30 repeats would be required. The yoke part I have started with 145 FC has 24 repeats only.
Should I restart from FC itself or from round 9 with [ch5, (dc4, ch1, dc4), ch4, sc1 between 2 repeats...] or can I add few repeats from armholes so I don't have to undo my work :(
I am on round 14 so for round 15, I can do [ch5, (dc4, ch1, dc4), ch4, sc1 between 2 repeats...] and then increase the repeats while joining the armhole. Will that work?
Sorry for bothering so much and Thanks!

Hi ekta,
Hi ekta,
I would try to save my work by increasing chains in 15th, 16th, and 17th rounds. If that won't be enough, I would use even larger size crochet hook to widen the garment some more.

Thanks Sana!
I shall start round 15 with (dc4,ch2,dc4), ch5,... and increase further if required.
Thank U again :)
