Front part
Work ¼ of your total number of chains. Decrease one chain from the neck side and two chains from the arm side.

Edges – work slip stitches to end.
Step 8
Openings for the tie
Crochet on the neck edge of each of the front and back parts.
Make 6 chs,[trc1, ch1] until you have about 10 triple crochets. Crochet or sew it to the wrong side of each part.
Tie
Make a foundation chain of 322 chs and crochet in the round, working slip stitches into both loops of the foundation chain.

Hi joyful_1967,

Hi joyful_1967,
Thanks for the post. I appreciate it. I'm glad that you liked the dress. Happy crochet!

Hi tonimaree40,

Hi tonimaree40,
The number of chains to start with will depend on your underbust circumference because you'll start crocheting from the underbust down and then attach the yarn to your initial foundation chain and will work from the underbust up. The pattern requirement is multiples of 16 chains. Happy crocheting!

Is there a way you can tell

Is there a way you can tell me how stitches would it take to fix a size 3 x. I would greatly appreciate it if you can let me know and thank you very much. 1

Hi Frangill,

Hi Frangill,
For 50 inches chest circumference (3x size), I would make a foundation chain of about 209 chs or (13 x 16) +1 assuming that your gauge will be the same as mine. Happy crocheting!

Hi Frangill,

Hi Frangill,
You may copy the written instruction to a word document, and then print it out. Happy crocheting!

Love this dress, it's

Love this dress, it's beautiful. I tried to make this dress according to the exact starting chain of 145 but in the third round I end with dc ch3 dc before dc into the starting chain, instead of c ch1 dc ch1 dc before dc into the starting chain. I restart many time but get the same result. Almost giving up on this project. Can you help me out what I have done wrong .. Would appreciate it . Thanks
